Drawloom is a desktop app you can try today, and a toolkit you can build on.
Try the app
Drawloom brings your projects, your conversations with an AI agent and the work it produces into one place. You direct the agent, see what it’s doing and approve what matters.
You’ll need:
- A Mac with Apple silicon, running macOS 14 or later.
- Codex, installed and signed in. Drawloom is free. It uses your own Codex account.
To install:
- Download Drawloom from the preview release.
- Open the download and drag Drawloom into Applications.
- Open Drawloom.
If you install Codex while Drawloom is open, quit Drawloom and open it again.
What you can do:
- Work in projects. Each conversation belongs to a project folder on your computer.
- Direct the agent. Send requests with files and images, and steer or stop the work as it runs.
- Stay in control. Approve actions yourself, or let Codex’s own review handle them.
- See the results. Open what the agent made, including audio, video, PDFs and text.
- Find past work. Search, rename and archive your conversations.
- Add plugins. Bring in new skills and tools.
This is our first preview, and we’d love to hear what you think. Share your feedback on GitHub.
Build with Drawloom
Drawloom gives you the 10 capabilities an AI workbench needs: context, tools, memory, knowledge, evaluation, orchestration, sandbox, observability, agent integration, and policy and approval. Use them as they are, or replace the ones you need with your own.
- Get started from source. Build and run Drawloom on your own machine.
- Replace a capability. Swap in your own implementation and test it with the same tests we use.
- Write a plugin. Plugins use the open Agent Plugins format, with MCP for tools.
- Contribute. Drawloom is open source under the Apache 2.0 licence, and contributions are welcome.
